Tornado Watch issued until 9 p.m. for most areas of Acadiana
A Tornado Watch has been issued until 9 p.m. for Lafayette Parish and parishes to the north and west of Lafayette Parish.
They may extend this watch to include all parishes later this evening. As this system moves into Acadiana it will begin with a severe weather risk but should turn into a flash flood threat overnight. Damaging winds and tornadoes will be possible late this afternoon and this evening.
