BAKER, La. (Louisiana First) — One man was killed and another was hurt in a Sunday shooting that happened at a Baker home.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said the shooting took the life of Gad Davis, 27, and left a second man in critical condition. Davis was pronounced dead at the shooting scene.
Deputies responded to the 6100 block of Rolling Acres Drive a little after 7:05 p.m. Investigators learned that a man shot Davis during an altercation.
The investigation into this deadly shooting remains ongoing.
