Food Bank Chief Executive Officer Jeff Quick says while the partnership is new, the program itself is not.

Those looking to participate in the program will need to be over the age of 60, and Quick says they also have to meet the income guideline of 185% of the poverty line.

Signups are being accepted at the Mountain Home Farmers Market being held every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 to noon at the corner of Fifth and Shiras streets or at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas at 1042 Highland Circle weekdays from 8 to 5. Quick says there are other locations where area seniors can sign up for the program.
