CPD said Tymarion Averyhart was charged with eight felony counts in total: One count each of aggravated sexual assault with a weapon, aggravated sexual assault – felony, home invasion – sex offense, aggravated kidnapping while armed, aggravated unlawful restraint, and three counts of residential burglary.
Averyhart, an Edgewater resident, was arrested Thursday in the 1800 block of West Greenleaf Avenue as he was identified as the offender who sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman in the 1800 block of West Lunt Avenue earlier that day.
CPD said he is also charged in connection to a sexual assault of a 27-year-old victim in the 6200 block of North Bell Avenue on Dec. 26, 2024, and two additional burglaries that occurred on Dec. 28, 2024 and Jan. 10, 2025—both in the 6200 block of North Bell Avenue.
