Kentucky State Police (KSP) said in a news release that just after 6 p.m. on Friday, troopers were dispatched to the 8800 block of KY-185 in response to reports of a two-vehicle crash that may have left people trapped inside.
The initial investigation showed that Pamela Hayes, 62, of Caneyville, was driving in an orange Chevrolet Cobalt with her passenger, Ronald Hayes. They were heading south on KY-185 when she allegedly lost control of the Cobalt and collided with a blue 2018 Toyota 4Runner driven by Elizabeth Kemp, 36, of Bowling Green, who was headed north.
Pamela and Ronald Hayes were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office, state police said.
Kemp and a minor who was in the car with her were both reportedly taken to the Bowling Green Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The deadly crash investigation remains ongoing.
