Port Gibson police arrest man for fatal apartment shooting

PORT GIBSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Port Gibson police arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex.

According to police, the shooting occurred at the Windsor Arms Apartments in the 400 block of McComb Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Larry Mosley, Jr., 22, of Edwards, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police identified the suspect as D’Onee Edwards, 20, of Port Gibson. He was arrested and charged with murder.

The shooting remains under investigation.
