The Stonewall County Sheriff’s Office confirms Skylar Beach, 10, was found safe Thursday morning, hours after an Amber Alert was issued in connection to her disappearance.
According to the Amber Alert, Beach was last seen April 30 on the 500 block of Avenue G in Hamlin. She was believed to be abducted by suspect Terry Jeter, 43.
Jeter was believed to be driving a motorcycle at the time of the girl’s disappearance.
All the Stonewall County Sheriff’s Office would confirm is that Beach was located alive. It’s unknown for sure if Jeter has been located as well, though police scanner traffic indicated that he has been located and taken into custody.
The Hamlin Police Department is expected to provide an official update on this case soon.
