Tuesday storms damage boat docks on Bull Shoals Lake

The Oakland- Promiseland Fire Chief is reporting damage to private docks on Bull Shoals Lake from storms that moved across Northern Marion County on Tuesday.

The line of storms also caused multiple power outages area wide with the Marion County Sheriff’s office reporting a portion of HWY 202 being closed temporarily due to a fallen tree knocking power lines onto the highway near the Ranger Boats plant outside of Flippin.

According to OEM Director Melissa Penn, no injuries or other damage were reported in the county.
