BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man from Prairieville will face 121 months in prison after being convicted of attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
Darryl Felder, 43, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and must serve five years of supervised release after imprisonment. Felder must also register as a sex offender after release.
Felder was convicted by a jury on the charges in September 2024 after a three-day trial.
According to the United States Department of Justice, in 2023, Felder was accused of enticing an undercover agent, whom he believed was 15 years old, to engage in sexual activities.
