Juvenile taken into custody after striking girl with motorbike in Norridge: police
NORRIDGE, Ill. — A juvenile has been taken into custody after striking a young girl while riding a motorbike in Norridge.
According to police, the juvenile struck the girl while riding a motorized bike on a sidewalk near Irving Park Road and Oleander.
The juvenile is in custody.
Norridge PD says they are working closely with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges. The case remains under investigation.
The police department is reminding residents that motorized bikes and scooters are not permitted to be operated on sidewalks.
