MARKSVILLE, La. (WNTZ) — The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office released a media report Monday detailing multiple arrests made between April 21 and April 27, 2025.
April 21, 2025
- Joseph Dwayne Charrier, 29, of Hessmer, was arrested for burglary, simple criminal damage to property, aggravated battery, robbery, attempted armed robbery, and false imprisonment.
- Oren J. Chenevert, 37, of Cottonport, was arrested for domestic abuse battery, false imprisonment, and contempt for failure to appear for a traffic ticket.
- Sharee N. Dauzat, 31, of Hessmer, was arrested for home invasion and criminal trespassing.
- Elisha E. Desoto, 48, of Marksville, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II drug with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage, and possession of marijuana.
- Lynzarek Rontriez James, 36, of Marksville, was arrested for criminal trespassing and simple criminal damage to property.
- Joshua M. Jeansonne, 30, of Hessmer, was arrested for two counts of contempt — failure to appear for traffic court — and simple criminal damage to property.
- Steve Keli Jr., 19, of Marksville, was arrested for aggravated battery.
- Vilmme G. Lopez, 22, of Forest Hill, was arrested for contempt — failure to appear for traffic court.
April 22, 2025
- Prince Albertino Albert, 44, of New Roads, was arrested for contempt — failure to comply with terms of his sentence.
- Kirk Joseph Carmouche, 50, of Marksville, was arrested for first-offense DWI, possession of marijuana, improper lane usage, and possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle.
- Devon Thomas Deaville, 42, of Cottonport, was arrested for three counts of contempt — failure to appear.
- Jordan Ryan Murray, 38, of Mansura, was arrested for theft.
- Michael Prater, 51, of Cottonport, was arrested for domestic abuse child endangerment and domestic abuse battery by strangulation.
- Troylynn Nicole Wiggins, 39, of Cottonport, was arrested for domestic abuse aggravated assault.
April 23, 2025
- Laddius Leblanc, 26, of Lebeau, was arrested for illegal obstruction of view through windows, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I drug, possession of a Schedule II drug, and contempt — failure to appear in court.
- Deneshia M. Pierite, 25, of Bunkie, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II drug, and misuse of safety belt tags.
- Katlin Sayer, 35, of Marksville, was arrested for contempt — failure to appear.
April 24, 2025
- Jamie Cadoree, 37, of Mansura, was arrested for failure to appear and contempt.
- Betty Dauzat, 47, of Marksville, was arrested for contempt — failure to appear for traffic court.
- Trenton James Francisco, 32, of Bowie, was arrested for probation and parole violations.
- Carlos Ramos, 23, of Cottonport, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
- Christopher D. Tibbs, of Bunkie, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II drug, misuse of safety belt tags, improper switching of license plates, failure to conduct required vehicle inspections, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, and contempt — failure to appear for traffic court.
- Joseph Hanson Wells, 35, of Cottonport, was arrested for contempt — failure to appear for traffic court.
April 25, 2025
- David Dauzat Jr., 42, of Marksville, was arrested for simple battery of the infirm and simple assault.
- Santana Dominick, 41, of Marksville, was arrested for domestic abuse battery, aggravated battery, home invasion, and simple robbery.
- Willie R. Hicks, 43, of Deville, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II drug, possession while operating a vehicle with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal obstruction of view through windows.
- Victoria Hodges, 23, of Marksville, was arrested for theft.
- Brandy Kidder, 51, of Hessmer, was arrested for domestic abuse battery.
- Jonathan Ray Kimball, 40, of Cottonport, was arrested for possession of Schedule I and II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, simple criminal damage to property, simple escape, introduction of contraband into a penal institution, improper turning movements, and obstruction of justice.
- Conesha Romer, of Marksville, was arrested for entry and remaining on premises after being forbidden.
- Christina Sargee, 46, of Marksville, was arrested for theft.
April 26, 2025
- Dawn Hodge Bain, 58, of Marksville, was arrested for theft.
- Charles Davis, 29, of Simmesport, was arrested for domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property, and disturbing the peace.
- Charles T. Guidry, 53, of Simmesport, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II drug.
April 27, 2025
- Paul Batiste, 26, of Marksville, was arrested for first-offense DWI, careless operation, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
- Chase Lee Gagnard, 30, of Hessmer, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II drug and expired license plate.
- Laterskia Rachelle Johnson, 42, of Simmesport, was arrested for fourth-offense DWI, refusal to submit to chemical testing, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, improper lane usage, and threatening a public official.
- Richard Jordan, 50, of Marksville, was arrested for battery of a dating partner and domestic abuse child endangerment.
- Mike Ryder, 45, of Deville, was arrested for domestic abuse battery.
