CFA’s president and CEO, Missy Andrade, tells News 10 why the foundation is shifting gears and ending this highly anticipated fundraising blitz. Andrade also details the new affiliate grants process, which will take SOLA Giving Day’s place.
Nonprofits in Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Mary and Vermilion parishes can apply online at CFAcadiana.org.
Community Foundation of Acadiana is also gearing up for a celebration. To commemorate 25 years, they will host a luncheon on May 6 at Le Pavillon. THe public is invited to purchase tickets or tables at CFAcadiana.org. The luncheon will highlight what donors, nonprofits and community stakeholders can expect from the foundation moving forward.
The application deadline for grants is May 14, and the 25th Anniversary Luncheon is May 6.
