CHP: DUI driver puts Mercedes tail up on highway roundabout
(KRON) — A DUI driver in a red Mercedes left Highway 221 and was hoisted tail up on a pile of rocks in the center of a new roundabout in Napa County over the weekend, according to the California Highway Patrol.

“The Napa CHP responded to a vehicle stuck in the new traffic circles on [Highway 221],” the CHP said. “Once we arrived, it turned out to be a vehicle on the traffic circles.”

The driver was arrested and faces charges for driving under the influence.

“Another reason drinking and driving doesn’t pay,” the CHP said. “This is a reminder that there are several ways to avoid a DUI: Designate a sober driver! Call a friend or loved one to pick up! Ride shares! Don’t Drink!”
