SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Benteler Steel is once again rallying the community for a great cause with its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at the Golf Course at Stonebridge.

With all proceeds benefiting Providence House, the tournament brings together businesses, sponsors, and golfers united in support of homeless families with children.

The event, featured two shotgun-start flights and a day full of friendly competition, including raffles, lunch, trophy presentations, and special recognition for sponsors. Organizers say the event’s success is thanks to the strong support system behind it.

“We have a lot of generous sponsors, and we just have a way of bringing a lot of people together,” said Robert Register, Equipment Specialist at Benteler Steel, “We’re lucky enough to be able to support them.”

Providence House serves as a residential development center for homeless families, offering comprehensive services aimed at restoring independence and stability.

“We understand that we could not do the work we do without our generous partners like Benteler Steel,” Florence added. “We’re just so very excited and we’re ready to see what comes of it.”
