GPD said investigators conducted searches at four businesses and uncovered “a significant quantity” of the illegal goods (pictured below).
Gilroy police said the targeted enforcement operation was in collaboration with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).
The following businesses were cited for violations, according to police:
“We will continue to partner with state agencies to ensure that businesses operate within the bounds of the law and do not contribute to the availability of illegal and potentially (harmful) substances,” said Gilroy police in a social media post.
Gilroy PD said its investigation remains active.
