KYTC’s high water report for April 24, 2025

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say its the 22nd day of flooding across the local Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) district, and water is dropping at a steady pace. Despite this, there are still roads that remain flooded.

The KYTC requests people to look for traffic control signage on the roadway. If they see a “road closed” sign, they are asked to do the “safe thing” and turn around. officials also note during this flooding event it has found that many of the popular GPS systems are not always up-to-date on the most recent closings. Always check before you drive.
