According to the National Center for Health Statistics, about one quarter (25.7%) of adults and nearly 1 in 5 children (18.9%) have a seasonal allergy. Family physician and associate professor at Rowan University, Dr. Jen Caudle, joined us in the PHL17 studio to talk to us about seasonal allergies, ways to prevent some symptoms and how to treat them.
“It’s really important to treat your allergy symptoms, to try to prevent allergy symptoms because allergies can have a huge effect on our lives,” says Dr. Caudle.
