UPDATE, 8:55 a.m.: According to DOTD, the crash has been cleared and all lanes are back open.
ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Southbound I-49 in north Lafayette is at a standstill this morning, according to DOTD.
All lanes are blocked due to an accident near Gloria Switch Road, according to a DOTD alert.
No detours have been posted, and no estimate as to when the crash will be cleared were provided.
