Lacey Wilson was issued a criminals summons after Evangeline Parish sheriffs conducted a vehicle search on April 2. During the investigation, it was discovered Wilson had a package containing 5.8 grams of marijuana and another package with 0.5 grams of marijuana in a hand rolled smoked cigar, deputies said.
Authorities said they conducted a vehicle search after they received information that a vehicle located at the ICE Detention Center was believe to have narcotics inside.
Deputies said they deployed K9 Diego to conduct a free air sniff around the perimeter of the vehicle and a positive alert for narcotics was identified on Wilson’s vehicle.
The case is still under investigation due to the subject being an employee of the ICE Detention Center, authorities said.
