Belvidere alderwoman Natalie Mulhall arrested on drug possession charges

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Belvidere’s 2nd Ward Alderman, Natalie Mulhall, has been arrested on charges of drug possession.

According to Boone County court records, Mulhall was arrested on Sunday, April 20th, and faces felony charges for possession of narcotics and misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence of alcohol. She has since been released pre-trial.

Class 2 felony charges carry a standard prison sentence of 3 to 7 years.

Mulhall, who also serves on the board of the Northwest Illinois Alliance of Realtors, was booked into the Boone County Jail early Sunday.
