The Vallejo Police Department said that 30-year-old Manuel Martinez of Vallejo was arrested for the murder on April 17.
“VPD detectives were investigating the crime scene when they observed Manuel Martinez walking in the immediate area,” VPD said in a statement on April 21. “Officers from VPD’s Patrol Division were notified of Martinez’s location and he was apprehended without incident.”
Martinez was booked into the Solano County Jail for murder. Anyone who may have information about the case is asked to contact Vallejo PD.
