Afternoon storms with a low severe risk today

Very warm, humid, and cloudy weather continues in Acadiana but rain chances will be higher in the afternoon. Tuesday is off to a warm start with areas of fog. Highs today return to the mid 80s as humidity levels remain uncomfortable.

Scattered showers and storms look likely from Noon to 7:00 pm today. There is a very low risk for severe weather as a couple storms could produce damaging winds or large hail. Also, localized flash flooding is possible.
