Mamou native LeTrainiump takes stage at Festival International

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — This Mamou native is bringing an energetic and captivating experience to Festival International.

LeTrainiump, born LeTrainiump Richard, is an up-and-coming pop singer/songwriter from Mamou who is capturing the Gulf South’s musical imagination through his live performances and recordings.

LeTrainiump’s sound is a unique mix of smooth R&B vocal hooks, layers of 80s synthesizers, deep funk drum and bass grooves, all wrapped in a 90s aesthetic.

LeTrainiump has collaborated with other artists including members of the Grammy nominated Tank and The Bangas,

Grammy winning engineer Reginald “ReggieNic” Nicholas (PJ Morton), and Pell. Additionally, LeTrainiump has performed alongside Big Freedia, Daisy the Great, Soul Rebels, People Museum, TC Superstar and THEBROSFRESH.

If the music somehow doesn’t get you moving, the energy will. The live performances are inclusive, captivating and cathartic. From small clubs, to regional festivals, to New Orleans Pelicans halftime shows, their powerful live shows have created demand for LeTrainiump on stages of all sizes.
