Kentucky roadways still flooded despite waters receding

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet released its high water report for Sunday, April 20.

Officials say roadways are still flooded in the area despite flood waters beginning to recede.

High water signs have been placed in the following areas:

Daviess County

• KY 500 between the 0.5-1 mile points at Jennings Rd
• KY 960 West 5th St Rd between the 0-1.9 mile points, entire length
• KY 1554 between the 3.5-4.6 along Katie Meadow Slough

Henderson County

• KY 136 between the 0-10 mile points
• KY 268 between the 1-8 mile points
• KY 3522 between the 0-0.3 mile points

Hopkins County

• KY 85 between the 4-7 mile points towards McLean County
• KY 138 at KY 1033
• KY 370 between the 0-1 mile points
• KY 862 between the 2-2.8 mile points near KY 254
• KY 862 between the 2.8-5 mile points
• KY 892 between the 5.5-6 mile points
• KY 1033 between 0-2 mile points near Vandetta
• KY 2280 between the 0-2.2 mile points

McLean County

• KY 81 between the 2.5-11.5 mile points (KY 85 to Calhoun Bridge)
• KY 85 between the 6.6-8.3 mile points (KY 2226 to KY 891)
• KY 136 between the 4.3-9.8 mile points KY 140 to KY 81
• KY 138 between the 0-5.8 mile points at Hopkins-McLean line (Hopkins line to KY 81)
