LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Come celebrate Paques in the Parc this year at Vermilionville on Saturday.

KLFY 10 spoke with Ellen Fucich, Vermilionville representative, who encouraged all to come join in on the fun this spring fling has to offer.

“Oh how can they not want to come!” Fucich said. “We are going to be paquing eggs, there’s going to be great music, there’s going to be an Easter egg hunt and great weather.”

The event will feature the musical talents of Geno Delafose & the French Rockin Boogie, Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band and Horace Trahan & The Ossun Express all day long.

The Easter event will also include a food, drinks and a delicious buffet brought to by the La Cuisine de Maman.

And of course you can not have an Easter party without eggs. So come join in on the festivities with a classic southern paques contest and a big Easter egg hunt.

Gates will be open at noon tomorrow. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate.

So hop on down to Vermilionville at 300 Fisher Rd and come break an egg or two.
