Three rescued after boat capsizes on Ross Barnett Reservoir

MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Three people were rescued after their boat capsized in the Ross Barnett Reservoir.

Reservoir Police Chief Carlos DiPuma said the police department received a report about a capsized boat around noon on Friday, April 18 about 700 yards from Brown’s Landing.

When authorities arrived at the scene, DiPuma said they discovered three males who had capsized while attempting to tow a disabled vessel. Rankin County deputies deployed a drone to help locate the capsized vessel.
