According to an INDOT news release, multiple overnight lane and ramp closures will shut down multiple lanes and ramps on I-74 and I-65 so crews can complete overhead sign structure work.
Starting on Monday, April 21, the I-74 WB ramp to I-465 will be closed from midnight until 3 a.m. This closure will last until Thursday, April 24. The detour for this temporary closure will be Southeastern Avenue to Arlington Avenue to Brookville Road.
The next closure will shut down the left lane of I-74 EB and WB between Post Road and I-465 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting on April 21. The right lane of I-65 SB will also be temporarily closed between Hannah Avenue and I-465.
Starting on Tuesday, April 22, and Wednesday, April 23, the right lane of I-74 WB will be closed between Post Road and I-465.
INDOT urged drivers to remember to reduce their speeds and drive without distractions as they pass through these work zones.
