Police said on Friday, April 11, at approximately 10:40 p.m., a man arrived on a bicycle and entered the Johnny Quick located at 5993 E. Belmont Ave.
The man was seen putting the two six-packs in his backpack, police said.
According to police, the man was confronted by employees about paying for the merchandise.
Police said the man “became physically aggressive” and assaulted both of the employees.
According to police, after struggling over the merchandise, the man was able to gain possession of the merchandise and fled the store without any attempt to pay.
