Authorities later found the suspect in the 200 block of South University Drive. The suspect gave police a false name and attempted to disarm officials after she was taken into custody, according to court records.
Hurley proceeded to kick, punch and attempt to spit as well as disarm officers when she was taken to OSF Saint Anthony’s Hospital upon request, officers said.
Hurley is charged with aggravated assault of an officer, aggravated battery of an officer, resisting an officer, attempting to disarm an officer and obstructing identification.
