Driver ejected, killed in rollover crash on I-20 in Taylor County

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A driver was ejected and killed in a rollover crash on I-20 in Taylor County Saturday night.

Viola Leeann Bingham, 58, of Odessa, Texas, was pronounced dead at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene following the crash on I-20 near mile marker 262 in Trent around 10:10 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The press release states Bingham was traveling west down the highway when she lost control and hit a guardrail, causing her truck to rollover and eject her upon impact.

Investigators determined Bingham was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
