Boil order issued for portion of Fifty Six Waterworks

A boil order has been issued for a portion of the Fifty Six Waterworks in Stone County. The affected area is for customers on Larry Treat to the end of Mitchel Road and Holmes Road.

The boil order was issued Monday due to a water line break.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
