Boil order issued for Fifty Six Waterworks in Stone County

A boil order has been issued for the entire Fifty Six Waterworks system in Stone County. The boil order was issued Tuesday afternoon following maintenance related work.

Until the order is lifted, affected residents are advised to boil all water for at least one minute before drinking or using it for cooking. Ice cubes should be discarded, and only boiled water should be used for making new ice.
