Woman found dead in Baton Rouge home after attack, police say
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A woman was found dead in her home after reportedly being attacked by an unknown suspect.
Baton Rouge police said Rose Davillier, 68, was found battered around 9:28 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the 4100 block of White Sands Drive near Greenwell Springs Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency medical personnel performed live-saving measures.
According to BRPD, detectives learned that a suspect entered Davillier’s home and attacked her before fleeing.
