Baton Rouge police investigating homicide after woman found dead inside apartment

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead Monday morning inside an apartment.

Shaquinnta Scott, 34, was located around 10 a.m. April 21 in the 700 block of Monet Drive near Florida Boulevard. Scott’s death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy.
