
The event welcomed community leaders, university partners and local officials for a special ribbon cutting ceremony that highlighted the bank’s commitment to investing in Acadiana.
“This redesigned space is a reflection of our deep-rooted connection to this community,” said Jerry Prejean, Acadiana Market President for First Horizon. “We’re committed to making meaningful contributions that fuel progress, both on campus and across Acadiana.”
Prejean continued, “Our long-standing support of academic and athletic programs helps broaden the reach and impact of the University’s commitment to education and excellence.”
The celebration included a special appearance by UL Athletics Hall of Famer and New York Yankees legend Ron Guidry and other former and current University of Louisiana athletes and coaches joined the festivities.
In addition to the newly designed banking center, First Horizon has invested in the upcoming Our Lady of Lourdes Football Stadium and played a key role in financing the project – further reinforcing its long-term commitment to the university and its role in strengthening the region’s culture, economy and community spirit.
