Son accused of stabbing mother in Prairieville arrested, APSO investigating
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal stabbing that took place around noon Saturday at a residence on Misty Oak Court in Prairieville.
The sheriff’s office arrested Dillon Marshall, 23, and charged him with aggravated assault and second-degree murder. APSO identified the victim as Shanitra Marshall, 48, and confirmed she is the suspect’s mother.
