NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist dead in New Orleans East on Saturday, April 12.
The NOPD reported that a man was riding a motorcycle south on the Almonaster overpass near Jourdan Road when he hit a barrier.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
NOPD officials said the investigation is ongoing, and the Orleans Parish coroner will identify the victim.
