Walker man convicted of rape, child porn sentenced to 40 years
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Walker man who was convicted on multiple child sex abuse charges was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
According to District Attorney Scott Perrilloux, David Tienda, 31, was convicted of aggravated rape of three juveniles and one count of pornography involving juveniles. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated the case in 2023.
“This case highlights the tireless work of our law enforcement partners and the importance of pursuing justice for the most vulnerable in our communities,” Assistant District Attorney Serena Birch said.
Birch said the case avoided going to trial after Tienda pleaded guilty.
