SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Acres Playmakers of Greenwood Acres Full Gospel Baptist Church bring a classic biblical tale to life with a creative twist in their upcoming stage production, “Jonah: One Whale of a Story.”
The play will occur on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at 7530 Greenwood Rd in Shreveport.

Directed by Keesha T. Bishop-Darty and featuring choreography by Roshanda D. Spears, the production promises to blend storytelling, drama, and movement in a powerful retelling of Jonah’s journey from running from God to being swallowed by a whale and ultimately embracing his purpose.
Presented by The Acres Playmakers, this family-friendly production is expected to deliver heartfelt performances, dynamic visuals, and spiritual inspiration.
