(WPHL) — A man from Honduras has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force after he stabbed two people in November 2024.

27-year-old Alexis Lopez Torres, from Honduras, was taken into custody at 2700 Spruce Street after evading police for 6 months.

Torres was also wanted by ICE after it was determined that “Torres, a Honduran national, was in the United States unlawfully”

“The Marshals Service is committed to ensuring public safety,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark, “and violent fugitives must be held accountable regardless of their nationality.”
