Just before 8:00 p.m. on April 9, crews responded to Antilley Road near the Tamarisk Circle intersection for a single-vehicle crash in which a car flipped over.
A witness reported seeing the car swerving before the accident, saying that it swerved just east of the bridge and then fell into the water.
According to police, the driver, the only occupant, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Officers say alcohol may be a factor, but it has not been confirmed at this time.
Westbound traffic on Antilley Road is down to one lane, with slow-moving traffic.
