By rssfeeds-admin SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—A free mobile dental clinic in Shreveport offers cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and cholesterol screenings.
SPAR is partnering with SUSLA, Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, to provide a free mobile dental clinic and consultations for all ages. The organizers emphasize that the mobile clinic is free and open to the public.
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport will be present for cholesterol screenings, total lipid profiles, blood glucose screenings, and blood pressure checks, which are also available at no charge.
The Shreveport organizers’ free mobile dental clinic schedule:
- April 8: Andrew Currie Park, 1600 Norma Street, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
- April 8: AB Palmer Park, 547 East 79th Street from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. (postponed, new date coming soon);
- June 10: Valencia Park, 1800 Viking Drive, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (no dental cleanings)
- June 10: Suset Acres Park, 6700 Quilen Avenue, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. (no dental cleaning)
- July 8: Bill Cockrell Park, 4109 Pines Park, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- August 12: Southern Hills Park, 1002 Bert Kouns, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- August 12: Hattie Perry -Park, 4300 Ledbetter Street, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
SPAR says the last patient will be seen 30 minutes before the end time. Walk-ups are welcome while supplies last.
