An investigation by Bucks County Detectives found that McCauley allegedly groomed and coerced the victim into having sexual encounters with two adult males three times in October 2024. According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, at least one encounter was recorded through a Snapchat video call.
McCauley allegedly added the victim as a friend on Snapchat and identified himself as a 17-year-old named “Jake.” According to prosecutors, McCauley groomed the victim and pressured her into taking sexually explicit photos and videos.
Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn says that at some point, McCauley directed the victim to create a profile on Grindr, a dating app, and give him the login credentials. He allegedly would access the Grindr account to arrange sexual encounters.
The two males involved in the statutory sexual assault of the victim were identified as Jon Thomas Van Ingen, 67, of Buckingham Township, and Randy Francis Quinn, 42, of Coopersburg.
Van Ingen was charged with one count of statutory sexual assault, and Quinn was charged with two counts of statutory sexual assault and one count each of photographing or filming a child sex act and dissemination of photos or film of child sex acts.
McCauley is in custody awaiting extradition from Kentucky. Van Ingen and Quinn were arraigned on Monday and released on $150,000 unsecured bail.
