Middle Eastern sweets and donuts coming to Rockford with Donut Disturb

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A new donut shop and Middle Eastern bakery is coming to Rockford.

Donut Disturb is planning to open at 2975 N. Perryville Road, inside the Marathon gas station, according to the Greater Rockford Arab Chamber of Commerce.

The shop will offer donuts, fresh coffee, gelato, and “Middle Eastern sweets” popularized by the Dice Donuts chain in Egypt, Oman, and Qatar.

According to the Greater Rockford Arab Chamber of Commerce, Donut Disturb plans to expand throughout the U.S. and introduce retail products like cold brew, gelato pints, and donut boxes in 2026.
