No injuries reported in downtown crash
SHENANDOAH – No injuries were reported when a car crashed near the Anthracite Miners Memorial downtown Monday evening.
The crash happened just after 9pm Monday at Main and Washington Streets in Shenandoah.
A Honda SUV was headed north on North Main Street when the vehicle left the roadway, striking curbing at the entrance to Girard Park and narrowly missing a pedestrian signal.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
Shenandoah firefighters responded along with police officers from Shenandoah, Frackville, and the State Police at Frackville.
The vehicle was towed by Steve’s Towing, Shenandoah.
