Chukchansi Park was filled with fans ready to watch their favorite players knock another season out of the park.
“Looking forward to just having a great season and just having a good time out here the whole time, Jacob Phillips Garcia said.
Before Friday’s first pitch, the Grizzlies’ front office was preparing for a season focused on the fans.
“We work so hard throughout the off-season to make sure that we’re ready for opening day that we’re ready to welcome the community back, everything we do we have the community in mind, Jonathan Bravo, Director of Communications and Marketing said.
Bravo said fans can expect to spend less at the concession stands and lower ticket prices.
“Your hot dog, your soda, your pretzel. All of those are available for just $3,” Bravo said.
Some home games start at just $8.
“Community, family affordability are all pillars for us here at the Fresno Grizzlies. We are a venue by the community for the community, and we want it to feel like that, Bravo said.
Larry Catfield has been supporting the Fresno Grizzlies since 2015.
For him, the Grizzlies home field is more than a stadium.
“It’s just that unity of the family and the family experience that Chukchansi gives you”, Catfield said.
