Man dies on street after being shot multiple times in Raisin City

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was shot to death in Raisin City Friday night, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies say they received a call regarding a gunshot wound victim near Ormus and Bowles avenues around 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

On scene, deputies say they found a man in his late 30s lying on the road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. According to the sheriff’s office, the man’s family attempted CPR, but he was pronounced deceased on the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
