Firefighters contain basement blaze at Rockford home without injuries

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Fire fought a blaze that started outside and spread to the basement of a house.

Around 6 p.m., fire crews were called to the 1400 North Avenue for the fire.

The fire was under control within 20 minutes and contained to the basement, according to Rockford Fire.

No one was injured in the blaze.
