Seaplane crash in Lafourche Parish leaves two dead
LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Two people are dead following a plane crash in Lafourche Parish that happened on Wednesday, April 2.
Parish officials told WGNO that a seaplane bound for Houma, reportedly crashed after taking off from New Orleans.
The plane reportedly went down in a marshy area between Louisiana Highway 90 and Highway 182.
The victims have been identified as Lauren Menkemeller and Lyle Panepinto.
