Over 28,000 affected by outages amid severe weather in the Tri-State

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Over 28,000 customers were affected by power outages in the Tri-State in the midst of severe weather.

As of 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday night:

  • CenterPoint is reporting over 22,000 customers without power
  • Kenergy is reporting over 3,800 customers without power
  • Duke Energy is reporting over 2,000 without power, including customers in Oakland City
  • Madisonville Municipal Utilities is reporting over 500 without power
  • Win Energy is reporting nearly 400 customers without power
  • HMP&L is reporting over 300 customers without power
